These terms and conditions apply to all products sold by Dottie Bears. You should ensure that you read and understand these terms and conditions prior to placing an order. By using Dottie Bears website, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
- Every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions, specifications and prices are as accurate as possible. No responsibility will be accepted for errors or omissions.
- Dottie Bears website is updated regularly. We reserve the right to amend prices and specifications without prior notice.
- All bears are subject to availability.
- All prices are shown in £ (GBP) sterling.
- All bears must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. All items remain the property of Dottie Bears until payment has been received in full.
- For specially commissioned bears a 50% deposit will be required. The balance will be required on completion of the bear prior to delivery. If payment is not received within 14 days of notification of completion we will assume the order is cancelled and your deposit will be retained.
- Payment can be made via secure payment links, invoicing or bank transfer. This will be discussed at the time of ordering and either the invoice or bank transfer details will be forwarded to you. Do not send your card details by email or the Contact Us form on the website as this is not a secure platform and we cannot be held responsible for misuse.
- Delivery and insurance will be charged at cost in addition to the price of the bear. Delivery will be by Royal Mail or designated courier and is usually tracked. If you wish to arrange collection or local delivery please let us know.
- If for any reason, you are not happy with your bear please contact us within 4 days of receipt so that we can discuss this with you and try to come to a satisfactory conclusion.
- If we cannot come to a satisfactory conclusion or you change your mind, you may return the bear to us within 14 days of receipt for a full refund minus postage costs. In this case, the bear should be returned in brand new unused condition with a copy of your original invoice/receipt. If the bear is not in the same condition or damaged in any way, we reserve the right to retain the proportionate costs for repair or replacement.
- All items will leave us in perfect condition and packaged appropriately and securely. Should your bear arrive damaged, please contact us within 4 days of receipt and return the bear within 14 days of receipt. Ensure you retain the packaging or take photographs as the delivery service may require proof or evidence in the event of a claim being made. On receipt of returned items, once checked a claim will be made by Dottie Bears on your behalf and a refund made via the same payment method that you originally paid.
- Items are returned at your own risk, so it is advisable to return items to us by recorded (signed for) and insured delivery services.
- If we receive none of the above notifications within 4 days of receipt of delivery, it will be assumed that the customer has accepted the item/s as satisfactory. Dottie Bears cannot be held liable for any subsequent loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the appointed courier or delivery service provider.
- All refunds are minus postage and packing costs.
- We will post orders outside the UK, but fees for any import duties, customs charges, taxes etc will be the responsibility of the buyer; Dottie Bears will not cover these additional fees.
- We cannot offer returns for purchases outside the UK.
- Returns and refunds do not apply to specially commissioned bears made to your own requirements unless damaged in transit.
- The above returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
- Dottie Bears reserves the right to substitute fur for an equivalent value/quality, colour or style if the original is not available for any special orders/commissions. We will discuss this with you and agree alternative options.
- All photographs on Dottie Bears website belong to Dottie Bears and are protected by copyright.
- Every effort is made to show accurate photographs on the website, but please note that the actual colour of the fur may vary slightly to the colour shown on the website due to colour variations caused by photographic processes.
- All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law and any dispute with Dottie Bears or its creators will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
